Printoid v14.05 is a new version, based on requirements received recently by users.
Integration of the Tuya Smartplug plugin

Work based on OctoPrint-TPLinkSmartplug and python-tuya. This plugin controlls Tuya-based SmartPlugs.
The plugin integration in Printoid is available for Premium users only. You can directly switch your plugs from the left menu, or from the dedicated page within the plugins menu.
Please note that, same as the TP-Link and the WemoSwitch plugins integration in Printoid, the app only allows you to list your configured smartplugs and to turn them ON / OFF. If you want to configure an existing smartplug or a add a new one, please do it from the web interface of OctoPrint.
Support of shared nozzle
Some users have 3D printers with a shared nozzle (only one heated nozzle for multiple extruders, such as E3D Chimera for example)
OctoPrint allows you to configure this parameter from the printer profile section.
Printoid nows support this parameter, and will automatically distinct your extruders (for extrude/retract features) from heated nozzle (for temperature adjustment)
You have nothing to do if “Shared nozzle” is already checked from your printer profile on OctoPrint.
Align progress value with OctoPrint
Until Printoid v14, Printoid displayed 2 progress values within 2 progress bars:
- The progress provided by OctoPrint
- The progress estimated by Printoid, based on the estimated time and elapsed time
Now, Printoid v14 only shows one progress value, within a circle progress. It is now bound to the value provided by OctoPrint for more consistency.
Rework of the file manager design
Each file’s row now display more information by default.
In the small file manager from the Grid dashboard, you can still expend the row to see more info.
In the full file manager, at least one row of information is displayed by default now. You can click on a row to see the full file description from the dedicated card.
Progressive release:
- If the update is still not available yet for you, please be patient, it will available very soon for everyone.
- Please do not ask me for the APK by email, Google Play is the only vector of distribution you shall trust. Moreover, I don’t not compile APK files anymore, but rather Android AppBundle only.
