1. Support the “Chamber” attribute of OctoPrint
Printoid now supports the “chamber” attribute of OctoPrint. It has been introduced with the latest version of the server (1.3.11) and allows you to control your 3D printer heated build chamber.
The integration in Printoid is exactly the same as for the heated bed. When detected by the app, the heated chamber controls will appear automatically in the interface.
2/ WemoSwitch plugin integration (PREMIUM only)
Such as the integration of the PSU Control Plugin and the TPLink Smartplugs Plugin, the WemoSwitch Plugin is now controllable from Printoid (from the plugins menu or from the dedicated instance in the left menu)
I’ve also reworked the way to display the ‘power control’ plugins in the left menu and, now, if you have multiple plugins installed (PSU + TPLink, or TPLink + Wemo, etc…) then they will all show in the left menu.
This is a PREMIUM feature only.
3/ Support of multiple OctoPrint profiles (for LITE users)
Free users can now add as many OctoPrint profiles as they want in the app!
This was originally a PRO and PREMIUM feature for a while (since the beginning in fact, 3 years ago). But I’ve decided to let the free users enjoying this feature too.
4/ File upload management (file picking)
On Android it’s hard to deal with the files. Because of permissions issues, because of different implementations by manufacturers, because of different third party applications to pick files, because of internal storage + SDCARD, etc.
I’ve tried something in this version, in order to make the file picking more universal and working on all devices. If it does not work for you, please contact me as soon as possible.
Please do not ask anymore for Dropbox, Drive, etc. implementation, it is still not possible but sill on my planning. This does not work magically, I need to develop many things to let you this possibility.
Progressive release:
- If the update is still not available yet for you, please be patient, it will available very soon for everyone.
- Please do not ask me for the APK by email, Google Play is the only vector of distribution you shall trust. Moreover, I don’t not compile APK files anymore, but rather Android AppBundle only.
