Dear Printoid users,
I’ve been working on Printoid since more than 4 years and a half. And today I’m thinking about a new interface, more modern and more powerful. Something like a dashboard that can be configured and adjusted to perfectly fit your needs.
And this is, why not, the moment to change a bit the representation of the app, by switching to a brand new app icon for example!
Here a few proposal I made. Please note that they are all quick and dirty tests I made with my own means, not final designs. The may idea behind this is to propose some global ideas of a new icon design.
The specifications of the new icon are:
- Keep the colors and form factor used in the current icon
- Keep the banners (“Premium” and “Lite”) used in the current icon
- Get closer to OctoPrint, using an octopus character
- This character should have the Bugdroid head
You are now invited to discover them, and to vote for your favorite idea 🙂 Please note that, if you dislike all of them… I’ll of course keep the current icon 😉 And if you all love one of them, I’ll refine it with the help of a designer, in order to have the best render possible.
