And for everyone, here comes the v9.02 with some UI and UX improvements.

1/ Display and mirroring

Printoid is now able to be resized. That mean some Android versions can reduce the window size without issue for example. You can also use Printoid in a multi-screen context: the interface will automatically switch in portrait or landscape mode to fit perfectly the dedicated space on your screen, depending on your device size.

I’ve also give a try to support Samsung DEX. Not sure that will work perfectly (I don’t have that kind of device) but please don’t hesitate to come back to me if that still don’t work well.

2/ UI improvements

The temperatures graph has been a bit re-factored to looks more modern and clearer. The temperature cards now only display the tool icon instead of its name, such as the design of the new printing job information card introduced with Printoid v9.01.

I’ve also introduced swipe gestures on some items (timelapse rows and alerts rows) in order to save a tiny piece of your precious time. Simply swipe the row to the left or to the right to trigger dedicated actions (see the screenshots below).

The custom commands can now be reordered more easily. The drag n drop feature has been fully rewritten.

3/ Bugfixes

Not exhaustive list but:

• I’ve fixed the promo dialogs which were displaying too much. My bad, I’m sorry for this regression, that was not planned at all.
• The input dialogs are now fixed and you can directly type any value in the correct range without having to delete the max value before.
• The adaptive icons for Android 8 should now look better 😉
