I’ve produced a lot of work this week-end to release another great release of Printoid before the end of 2016.
First, I’ve reworked the ‘custom commands’ panel look & feel. Remember guys, this panel let you send any GCODE or SSH command. Simply add a new command (GCODE or SSH) and it will appears as a new card in the grid. This is really helpful if you miss some GCODE features in Printoid (right, I can’t add ALL the GCODE features in the main panel, sorry for those who want to see a button to do that, or another button to do this… the custom commands panel is right here for you!)
Secondly, I’ve move the SSL (HTTPS) and basic auth settings directly in the printer profile. This is more by convenience: some of you haven’t found these settings in Printoid, and some others haven’t understood that each bundle of settings is specific to the currently selected profile (so when you switch to another printer profile, then the associated bundle of settings is also loaded)
Also, I’ve let you the possibility to upload your files in the currently opened folder, and so not only at the root of your location. That’s the same behavior as the OctoPrint web-interface does.
And finally, I’m still working hard to support more and more GCODE formats in the 2D and 3D visualizers. You know guys, this is really hard to support all of them! Please contact me if your own are not supported yet by Printoid, this will be a pleasure to me to try to support them.
