Printoid for OctoPrint

Dear Printoid users,

I regret to announce the unpublication of Printoid Premium from Google Play in some countries… Unfortunately, the app is no more available everywhere in the world on Google Play.

WHY PRINTOID PREMIUM IS UNPUBLISHED

The main reason is how Google handles the V.A.T. (value-added taxes) in these countries. It became too hard, too expensive and too time consuming to me to declare and reverse the taxes country per country every months. That’s why I am forced to limit the publication today on Google Play.

I am not pleased at all with this situation, but unfortunately I have no other choice at this time. I hope Google will change the VAT payment processes for the following list of countries, so Printoid Premium will be back online again (Google does frequently: we developers receive a notification regarding the VAT process change for the country, so we adjust our app’s publication settings)

Please note that, Printoid Lite remains online on Google Play for everyone in the world.

HOW CAN I GET PRINTOID PREMIUM THEN

If you are living in one of the listed country and want to install Printoid PREMIUM, you can still purchase your own license of the app. Please follow these steps:

• Purchase your license using PayPal
• Download and install the PREMIUM APK
• Send an email to the developer to ask for your PREMIUM license

Please note that the PREMIUM license should be linked to a Google account (Gmail for example). You should tell the developer what is the email address associated to your Google account. A license is linked to the account for the rest of your life, you can use it on any devices without restriction.

Again, I’ve very sorry for this situation and I hope for a more convenient system in the future so I would be able to make Printoid PREMIUM back online again for everyone in the world.
